Saturday surprise

Today we received a lovely little surprise

We won a runners up prize for a giveaway Charlotte Vallance had on her blog.
She had contacted us already with the good news. And we were waiting impatiently for the goodies to arrive.
Well only few things are better than receiving little presents on a Saturday sleep in weekend

We were totally surprised by the package without even opening it. Even Gizmo loved it !

Once we opened it, we were surprised on how many nice things we received.
Charlotte sent us our favourite item from her Etsy shop. The Amsterdam illustration cards, which you can find here.

We still have to decide who will be the lucky friend to receive them, or if we might even keep them all for us because they are too beautiful.

Charlotte added as well a super cute badge with one of her Diamond illustrations as well as a 10% Discount voucher for her Etsy shop.

I really want to encourage you all to pop over at her Blog, Etsy Shop and follow her on Twitter to keep up to date.

We really really liked your package. It really makes a difference when you see that somebody took the time to really prepare things especially for you! Thanks for handwriting your Cards and Voucher! And yes, hopefully Edinburgh will be one of your next cities to illustrate!

We would like to share some of the pictures we took today from the Festival Carnival which is part of the Edinburgh Jazz and Blues festival with you.

There have been Chinese dragons, Brazilian Samba, a bit of New Orleans, people from all over the world sharing beats, dance and joy. And of course,it was fun, a lot of fun.
